Serv-A-Cup’s roots go back to 1957, when Bob Craig began to provide a hot water source to local businesses and sold them instant coffee, chocolate and soups. Due to a prior obligation, his main focus was shifted away from the coffee business. Then, in 1975, when commercial grade coffee brewers became available for office use, his focus shifted back to the “beverage business” as he liked to call it and SERV-A-CUP was born. With the help of his wife and sons, it grew into one of Salt Lake’s leading coffee services. In 1997, he was awarded the National Coffee Associations Silver Cup Award, in recognition of his commitment to quality service and high business ethics. Now with the third generation involved, we continue to operate with the high standards he initially set. In 2002 we formed an alliance with Royal Cup Coffee of Alabama that gave us the opportunity to service some of Utah’s finest hotels and restaurants as well as national accounts.
